A website with SimpleChange costs £600 to £2,000 as a one-off build, plus an optional £79 to £279 a month to keep it ranking, answer enquiries and bring customers back. Most Hertfordshire service businesses land on the £1,000 build with the £149 plan. No quotes, no sales call.
The build gets you online and found. The monthly plan is what turns that into enquiries you do not have to chase.

Four things change the number. Nothing else does, and none of them are a surprise at the end.
A sole trader with one service needs two pages. A firm covering six services across five towns needs twenty five. Pages are the single biggest factor, because each one is written and structured on its own.
Ranking in one town is straightforward. Ranking in five means a page for each, with genuinely different content, which is more work and more of what actually brings the enquiries in.
The chatbot, missed call text back and the AI receptionist sit in the monthly plan, not the build. If you only want a site that looks right and gets found, you can skip them entirely.
Forty eight hours is possible on a Starter build. Anything bigger takes five to ten days. Priority builds jump the queue, which is what the Growth tier is partly paying for.
Design revisions, small copy edits, adding a service later. Those are included. You should never be billed for asking to move a button.
Your domain, at roughly £12 a year, registered in your name. That is the only cost that does not come through me, and it stays yours if you ever leave.
Including the cases where I am the wrong answer. If one of those is you, I would rather say so now than take the money.

| Best if | Your budget is genuinely zero and you have time | You want a one-off site and no ongoing systems | You want the work coming in handled for you | You are a large brand needing a large team |
If you have no budget and plenty of spare evenings, a DIY builder will genuinely do a job. If you want a brochure site and nothing else, a good freelancer will be cheaper than I am. And if you are a national brand needing a design team, brand guidelines and a procurement process, an agency is built for that and I am not. I take on a handful of local service businesses at a time, and that is the whole model.
Four things that get charged for constantly in this industry and should not be.
The build is split: half to start, half when the site goes live. The monthly plan starts the month after you go live, so you are never paying for something you cannot see yet.
No. The monthly plan is rolling and you can cancel any time. Your domain and your content stay yours either way, and I will hand them over without a fuss.
A £99 site is a template with your logo dropped in. Every site I build is designed around one business, written for the way its customers actually search, and set up so enquiries reach you in seconds. That takes real time, and I only take on a handful at once.
That is fine. The build works on its own and you own it outright. The monthly plan is what keeps it ranking and answers enquiries for you, but it is optional and you can add it later.
No. Hosting, security, SSL and backups are inside the monthly plan. The only thing you pay separately is your domain, which is roughly £12 a year and stays registered in your name.
It is included in the Booked plan with a generous allowance of call minutes. If you are taking an unusually high volume of calls I will pass the extra through at cost, and I will tell you before that happens, not after.
Message me what you do and roughly where you work. I will tell you which tier fits and what it would cost, in one reply. Even if the answer is that you do not need me yet.
